I hope this e-mail will reach a majority of you before your trek to
Bakersfield. Please let your chorus members know, in case they need the
extra time on Friday.

As was announced yesterday, we have a new Music judge (Ardeth Fullmer) coming
in to replace Lynnell Diamond, who is ill. However, Ardeth can't get to
Bakersfield until mid-afternoon on Friday.
Therefore, the start time for the Quartet Contest has been pushed back to
5:00 (instead of 4:00).
We've now had 3 quartets withdraw from the contest -- Turning Point, Que
Sera, and as of yesterday, License 2 Sing -- so the evening should conclude
only about a half hour later than it normal would have.
The only event on Friday that is impacted by the change in start time is the
meeting with the judges (C&J meeting), which affects only a few select
people. This meeting will begin at 4:00, instead of 3:00. ALL OTHER EVENTS
ON FRIDAY (prior to the Quartet Contest) will proceed according to the
schedule that is printed in the program that you'll receive when you register
