Dear List, This may be useful to only a few of you because most of you don¡¯t work on School lab printers as I do which have tightened security and admin permission set up. I do have admin permission

Re: Ink Limit Target for Epson P-900
V/MK channel settings are the same with OR/GR inks as the QTR changelog says. That would be Violet: R255 / B127 MK: R255/ B191 The G channel is ink quantity. 0 for 0%, 255 for 100%. -- Kang-Wei

Ink Limit Target for Epson P-900
To all; ? It turns out that the mk-limit target for setting the ink limit is not accurate for the P-900.? The attached file is from Clay Harmon who has given permission to share it here:? See the

thanks for the reply Paul. I appreciate you taking the time to reply to threads here. It is appreciated. To clarify, when using MK and PK in a combined inkset, the PK dilutions should be with the

Re: Revisiting Carbon 6/7/8 in 2024
The C6b base is for matte printing only. I buy glossy base (wj824, from STS Inks) for PK dilution. For matte, just use MK with the PK dilutions. In fact, you can use the PK as the deepest "midtone"

Re: digital negative density range
Digital negative dmax 3.0. The highest dmax for a digital negative on Fixxon? from an Epson 3880 is about 1.01 to 1.10. I am using an Xrite Model 331 transmission densitometer. What should I be doing

Re: Revisiting Carbon 6/7/8 in 2024
thanks Paul. I've been using your C6B blend to dilute the MK in my setup. That still works with PK?

This yank keeps forgetting that the UK went and did what they did, like I just did when I referenced Octo. ?Oops.

Problem solved; profiles are now accessible by Print-Tool: uninstalled QuadToneRIP and deleted the printer, then reinstalled both QTR and the printer and all is good. Now I¡¯ve got negatives printed

What is being used for dilution and where can I get that in EU? Another thing that goes thru my mind: has enyone tried to dilute and use Epsons Pro 12 MK and PK Black + LC and LM from that series?

Just for ideas, where Paul has his second 100% MK I've put a 6% PK dilution in place. Maybe that's too close to 9%, maybe not, but that's what I did. --- Blayne Puklich Minneapolis, MN
