21-step crashing qcdn
Greetings :) I am running a 21 step target and when I attempt to open in QCDN linearize app, it crashes the system-every time. I want to use this as measurement because I actually looks pretty good.

Epson Stylus 2200
I have an old Epson Stylus2200 and used it years ago for printing digital negs. Haven't used it in at leat 7-8 years. I bought some expired ink and cannot get anything near a print-just some light

Re: Epson p800 Drying time per head pass control on Windows
I had a similar problem with the P900. Here is how I solved it. Use the Epson media installer to make a new media file. For example, duplicate Premium Gloss. Then edit the parameters you want - like

Re: Epson P5370
Longer. Not thicker. That used to work on the 4900.

Re: Epson P5370
Will try, Alan. In other words make the one edge thicker? I wonder if masking tape would do the trick. The other thing is the P5370 often says can’t detect paper with OHP so just now I took a

Re: Epson P5370
Tape a piece of paper or ohp to the end of the paper. That way the rollers have something to engage and should eliminate the banding.

Re: Epson P5370
Glad I was of help! We have had excellent luck so far with the P5370 using P900 profiles. The only remaining problem is printing on 8.5x11 I have to limit students to 9 inch prints an inch away from

Re: Epson P5370
Chris, thank you very much for this detail. I tried multiple time to install the p5370 with the InstallP5370=P900 before returning to this group to find what I was doing wrong. No problem at all once

Roy, Thank you. That worked!

Re: QTR-Create-ICC-RGB.exe
Without column headings the program tries to guess what each column of data is. Its expecting "grayish" values for A and B ~ i.e. within -20 to +20, so misses calling it A and B. Just put a header

Re: QTR-Create-ICC-RGB.exe
I just tried again using 51 Lab measurements (file attached), which is the same as I usually do. But again, QTR-Create-ICC RGB (version 2.7.9.0) produces what looks like a grayscale icc profile (out

Re: QTR-Create-ICC-RGB.exe
I only used only 16 Lab values, which apparently isn't enough for an icc. I couldn't find any documentation regarding a minimum. [image: image.png] [email protected]> wrote:

QTR-Create-ICC-RGB.exe
I use QTR-Create-ICC-RGB.exe to create icc's for soft proofing my alt process prints, and have been doing so for many years. After I do a calibration, I make a calibrated negative with a step table

Re: Setting up P900 for Direct to Plate methods using QTR
From what I can tell, platen gap isn’t all that critical - the plates and carriers are well below that thickness - 1.1mm I think. I believe this is just there in case the media is curled slightly

Re: Setting up P900 for Direct to Plate methods using QTR
Clay, 2.6 seems to be the max platen gap setting the 5370. Any thoughts on how to approximate your P900 DTP settings with this platen gap limitation?

Re: Setting up P900 for Direct to Plate methods using QTR
Thanks Clay - really appreciate you sharing this info in an easy guide. Very useful! I don't have a P900 as yet, but I know it just around the corner! Silvi
