Unfortunately, an uppercase "i" (I) can sometimes look just like a lowercase "L" (l)...
The status command is an uppercase i (I), not L. ("?????? I")

On your radio, all 1 (or 2) character URCalls should be right shifted, proceeded by 7 (or 6) spaces.

xrf071 should have an IP address of 211.60.41.185. If it does not, fix it. I just linked to xrf071c successfully.

Yes, it is correct the gateway file is gwys.txt installed /usr/loca/etc.
But, qnLink shows the gateway not found in gwy list when reflector changing failed.

If you are absolutely sure XRF082 is in your gwys.txt file, then try this:
Send "?????? F" to your system. After link sees that URCALL, you should see a message in the qnlink log telling you

Please see the section on qnadmin in the CONFIGURE+INSTALL file for info on how this works. (Hint: put you own defs in My_Hosts.txt and then use qnadmin to build your gwys.txt

every time. Good to know!
