Hi Colby,
?
Great to see the QnetGateway ICOM Stack is virtually a drop-in replacement for G2/G3.
?
Two questions:
?
1/ If the local private network is all between 172.16.x.x ¨C 172.31.255.255 ¨C including the IP Address of the network gateway out to the Internet, and if the Icom Controller, the Gateway server, and the internet router are all on the same switch, in your view would that eliminate the requirement to have 2 NICs? Looking to understand if a Raspberry Pi can be reliably used as the gateway server as it only has one Ethernet port.
?
2/ If I install Debian Stretch as per your recommendation, is there a repository available that has a current pre-compiled version of QnetGateway? If there is, what is the URL to use in APT for the repository. Such an approach would make maintenance of the server so much simpler ¨C especially if the server build conforms to Qnet¡¯s officially recommended specs.
