Re: Failure on Qngateway Service

Hi Colby,
I posted on the pi-star group but have not received any response. Just wan to share to you what I get when i do the rpi-rw command.
Pi-Star's disk is read-only by default, enable read-write with "rpi-rw".
Pi-Star built by Andy Taylor (MW0MWZ), pi-star tools all start "pistar-".
-bash: /usr/share/bash-completion/bash_completion: Structure needs cleaning
-bash: /usr/share/bash-completion/bash_completion: Structure needs cleaning
pi-star@pi-star(ro):~$ rpi-rw
mount: / not mounted or bad option
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so.
pi-star@pi-star(ro):~$

Pi-Star shouldn¡¯t have any problems going into read-write mode. Just restart it. Additionally, you should restart it after you add your repeater to the DPlus_Hosts.txt file as well.

You might want to head over to their forum and check it out, they have a pretty good support team.?

I just can¡¯t for the life of me remember if they actually had an option that easily added the repeater in the host files or not.

One of guys was asking me questions;

1. How many hotspot can connect to the gateway? My answer is it is dependend on the settings, I think it was set for 5 and I changed it to 20.

2. If a station use the repeater to kink to another reflector or repeater and forgot to unlink, is there a time duration that the repeater will auto unlink. Not sure what the answer.
