Re: QRPPlus cabling
Hi Kees, I am sorry that you are having problems with the radio. I have never heard of this happening. J3 on the AF-Board is the connector that is used to send the audio to the front panel and swr

Re: Need Advice
Your xmit output is pretty normal.? Some rigs can get 5-6W out on CW, but 2-3W out on SSB is about it. As I recall, 100uV at the antenna input should give an S-9 reading.? A 6 dB loss through the

Need Advice
I have been troubleshooting my deaf QRP+ transceiver. It works on Transmit with 4W out on CW and 2W out on SSB. 100 uV on 20M gives about S-5 meter reading. I can barely hear 1 uV. I thought it

Re: QRP+ is deaf
As I recall, CW output should be 4 - 6 W, depending on band.? SSB PEP output is less.? Haven't fooled with a QRP+ in 3 years or so. And my memory isn't what it used to be . . . L.

Re: QRP+ is deaf
Larry, you mentioned that with a partial failure, power output may be low. Is that in the 2-3 watt level or is it lower? My QRP+ does not get 5 watts but I would enjoy the extra 3dB if I could get

Re: QRP+ is deaf
Expect at least 4 - 6 W CW, depending on band.? At least 2W PEP on SSB - might get 5 if really lucky. L.

Re: QRP+ is deaf
I don't have a spectrum analyzer so can't check for spurs unless I sweep with my general coverage receiver. BTW What is the power Output with the pot turned all the way up on CW? And what PEP

Re: QRP+ is deaf
If you are getting good xmtr output, it very well may NOT be the input mixer (SBL-1).? You can test further -- if you have some sort of spectrum analyzer,? check for spurious output (you might also

Re: QRP+ is deaf
I measure 4 watts output when keyed from the rear panel. I have a new SBL-1 on order. Thanks for input. Wes

Re: QRP+ is deaf
If the input SBL-1 is bad, your xmit output should be low as well. Larry - W1HUE/7
