If you are getting good xmtr output, it very well may NOT be the
input mixer (SBL-1).? You can test further -- if you have some
sort of spectrum analyzer,? check for spurious output (you might
also be able to use another receiver).? Many harmonics and other
"junk" from the transmitter could indicate that one leg of the
mixer is shot.? This would still allow xmtr output but greatly
reduce receiver sensitivity.? Do you have a schematic of the rig?
If not, you can download one .
Or just replace the mixer (not a minor undertaking) and see what
happens . . .
