Unmatched customer service
开云体育Hear! Hear! ? ? From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Brian Machesney ? I want to thank and congratulate QRP Labs for resolving a customer service quickly and thoroughly. In a world where customers seem to be getting ever more removed from providers, QRP Labs proves that great people still make the most important and positive impact. |

All,
I want to second everything that Brian has said, but I think there's more. With the customer service, the unmatched assembly manuals, the willingness of people all over the world to help others through this list, people have built kits who perhaps wouldn't have done so without all that support. Others have gone on to learn more about WSPR, programming, or (re)discovering CW. I've always believed that education is a Good Thing, and self education with QRP Labs kits is no different. So although Hans may have produced his kits (particularly) the QCX with a view to earning some pocket money, I think he's actually done much more. Folks have gone back to Amateur Radio after losing interest years ago. Every skill that someone learns is a skill they can pass on to others. I'm sure somebody more capable with words could phrase all of this much better, but I hope you follow my meaning. Hans, all power to your elbow. I wonder what the next kit will be? 73 John G4YTJ |

>?I think he's? actually done much more. Folks have gone back to Amateur Radio after losing interest years ago?. . . I can speak to that.? My last QSO was 37 years ago and I let my license lapse.? Then, I discovered the QCX.? Last Monday I took the FCC test to renew my license.? I am looking forward to getting back on the air with a QCX.? Thanks Hans! Bob AG7OZ |

开云体育AMEN! Hans and his patience and prompt responses has completely blown me away!? Frankly, I don’t know how in the hell he stands it!? I’d rather set on an ant hill! ? Hi all Many thanks for the nice comments and your support. This is not a "side business" anymore but I prefer to still run it like one. A huge part of this since the beginning has been to put back as much as I can into the hobby that I love, and which has played such an important role in my life. I owe my existence to amateur radio, and I have an infinite debt of gratitude to repay to all the wonderful people I met through the hobby.? Although I must now think commercially (the junior lab technicians eat a *lot* of food) - I doubt you will have noticed any change. I read an article a few months back, which resonated strongly with me, and which I have unfortunately lost... it was about the biggest mistake small businesses (and large!) make, which is to think only about making money. The principle in the article was that if you focus your efforts instead about creating something - product and/or service - of "value" to people, the money will take care of itself. I try to always remember that.? 73 Hans G0UPL On Sat, Jul 21, 2018 at 7:51 PM Allen Poland <atpoland@...> wrote:

I agree!!! I always tried to serve my customers. I did not think of myself as having any competitors, just let my customers drag me kicking and screaming to success. Or put another way, if you take care of the nickels, the dollars will take care of themselves :). Nice products!! John - NH USA On Mon, 23 Jul 2018, Hans Summers wrote:
