Hysplit on the HABHUB mapping shows bad news however.It may vanish a few days.
Could get lucky and get one spot mid day when the sun peaks.

It works fine on my second build.? I DID use shielded cable for the key jack as it passes right over the TX RF section to the back panel of my enclosure.? I don't know if the earphone has to be

I've looked at 5 different recommendations from people that have posted their successful settings for the U3.
They do vary slightly, maybe non-applicable, non-critical or depending on programming
