Re: FT8 for U3?
David, Yes WSPR is the obvious choice. It seems to me that many of the other mode "grabbers" are to alert users that a QSO with a spotted station is possible rather than just to test propagation? 73

Re: Moving the CW filter center frequency
I asked Giulio IK2DED this question for youtube, but there is no answer yet. I will do the experiment myself.

Re: Moving the CW filter center frequency
Hi Andy I would suggest try 400 and 600Hz for the audio phase shift adjustment. If you left it at 800Hz it would not be bad, either... I do not know really the answer to this and I have not tried it

Re: FT8 for U3?
Not sure what your saying. The quote was from my post saying ,why not have FT8 beacon for U3S? JT9 has fewer spotters as does many other modes that came and gone...so yes,FT8 in the U3S is a good idea

Precisely my point! The more coverage you have, the more it represents the prevailing propagation.? Likewise the faster reporting.

Re: FT8 for U3?
It's useful because there are *vastly* more people receiving/reporting the FT8 signals and therefore giving a more realistic picture of the prevailing propagation on PSKR and other sites.? Fast or
