I would suggest try 400 and 600Hz for the audio phase shift adjustment. If you left it at 800Hz it would not be bad, either... I do not know really the answer to this and I have not tried it myself. So you would probably have to experiment a bit with it.?
There are some YouTube videos by Giulio IK2DED, he modified his QCX-80 for 540Hz CW - see? for example.?
