Re: 1_01_001 firmware: problem with Digi mode QMX plus - SOLVED
Haaaa
I did exactly the same last night, even though I had read this post... I
had my QMX+ driven by WSJT-X and was operating 160m WSPR. I started it and
left it running. About 4-5 hours later I came

This isn't a limitation of QMX. It's a limitation of the USB Virtual COM

Re: Odd 20 meter calibration
Brien,
I'm noticing the same thing since doing the Calibration, 20 meters is lower than all the other bands. I have about 2 watts CW on 20 meters, but SSB is only .5 watts read on a external peak

I saw weird calibration results, so my question is should I compare performance with/without calibration?
I assume a factory reset removes calibration or just turn off Phase and Amplitude distortion

Odd 20 meter calibration
This may be independent of SSB software version.? 20 meter calibration is different than the other bands.? I get no power output indication on the meter during 20m LSB and USB IMD Sync.? I have

Re: Troubleshooting a nonfunctional LCD backlight on a QMX
Stan Q301 was indeed the culprit! I have a replacement coming that should
resolve the issue. Appreciate the excellent suggestion and thanks all for

Re: QMX+ uneven output power
I rewound the L510 & L513 to the specified winding turns and the output on the 30M and 40M returned to normal, 3.5 & 3.0W accordingly. I rewound L403 on the original T37-6 toroid. I will test today to

Hans,
On 003 (20m to 10M QMX), 12m and 10m in DIGI mode seem to have reduced output when using wsjtx.? I unfortunately did not check this on Beta 001 or 002, but it is a noticeable difference from

An observation
If you have CW practice on and use "tune" it will show a SWR of about 1.7 no matter if a dummy load is connected or nothing is connected. A power meter shows that there is no RF out. It

Hi Mario
You might try switching OFF the 80/20m BPF swap in the advanced
configuration to see if that makes any difference. That was intended to fix
the TX/RX switch instability in QMX PCB Rev 2,
