Re: QSX project retirement
Ken and Jerry, The 10W linear does not have a TR transfer switch built-in and is missing the required low-pass filters with band switching.? These were part of the QSX effort.? As Jerry points out,

Re: Lowering QDX output for amplifier
Hello Nate! I supply voltage to L14 from a separate pulse stabilizer. Of course, there may be options here, but I liked to do it this way. -- 73, Oleh, UY2ZA

Hello Hans! I've installed new firmware and had several successful QSO. Modulation looks good (at least much better than uSDx). Thank you! Still have a lot to do with microphone settings. But I failed

Hi Don, I'm considering repurposing a PC gaming headset with built in mic that I have. The head set has two individual 3.5mm plugs, one for the headphones and one for the mic. I will be using a foot

Those of us who wrote software in BASIC on the amazing (for the time) HP-85 computer are well used to starting programs with 10 OPTION BASE 0 so that the array index maths looked correct. :-)

Great to see the first fixes coming in so quick. That might have been the most important ones. Thank you for the changelog! Did you provide an 1.01.002 version?

Hi Andrew Your voltage reading is during TRANSMIT. During transmit the voltage should be a bit less than the supply voltage. Your PA voltage reading of 9.6V is colored red because it is judged a bit

I was more thinking of using the 10w linear because of its reported ‘bomb-proof’ resistance to high VSWRs rather than higher power. I often run with poor match antennae. Plus I wanted to put it to

Re: Can't get SWR sweeps to be 1:1 with dummy load
Ahhh... getting closer to the cause.? The voltage on the top of C406 should be 1/2 Vcc, set by the resistor divider of R401 and R402.? This voltage biases the RF signal through the trifilar

Re: Troubleshooting a nonfunctional LCD backlight on a QMX
If shorting pins 15 and 16 turns on the backlight, then check Q301.? Either it has a problem, or its connection to the pin on JP303 is not good, so the signal from the processor can't turn it
