this is a good point. Yes, if the amplitude modulator is not working properly then the entire calibration could be run at full amplitude, which would have the risk of overheating. If this is the case, then the Hardware Diagnostics screen would show a high voltage at the "Voltage" parameter, 3rd from the bottom of the right-hand column, and it would be highlighted red.?

Hans, is there a documented voltage that is considered high? I have been running my QMX for quite some time with no issue, however while running the diagnostics for the new SSB firmware I noticed that my TX Voltage is reading 9.6V and is highlighted red.
