Re: QRP Labs xciever with SSB capability
Hans,
You might find this interesting. The chap has implemented an SSB, FM and AM
RX on a Raspberry Pi Pico which has a dual core ARM Cortex M0+ processor.

Re: QMX+ VDD 2 ohms to ground
Slightly different story here. VDD is showing 20¦¸ to ground without the PS boards installed. I decided to apply about 2.5 V to the VDD pin to which PS Board #2 attaches. Current consumption was 250

Re: Multiple instances in Windows 11
Tnx Bojan. I took a look, but still confused because I want only 1 instance. So I am not asking for a second instance. I guess I can go to task manager and end an app., but I wondered if there were

Re: QDX and the raspberry pi 5 running bookworm
Getting the port talking on a RPi 5 is the easy bit
Its /dev/ttyACM0
Make sure you put this in the PTT Method box too.
However

Multiple instances in Windows 11
When I run FT8 and JS8 call,
I often have to exit the program and go to a second instance to have the program run normally. Is there a setting in the programs to prevent this or in Windows?

Re: QMX+ VDD 2 ohms to ground
Hi Colin,
I did the same today and removed L202, same result as your measurement. I then removed L201 without any change, so at least it's not IC204 that causes the short, either.
When I switched on

Re: MidBand QMX, not receive on 20/17/15
I think I found the problem.
I disconnected the T401 transformer input from pin 9 IC402.
Then I connected the input of transformer T401 to RX_IN through a capacitor. The receiver is

Re: OMX - tx-test ok - now no tx-output
tnx for the info. But a factory reset and a downgrade to 025 (and an upgrade to 026) did not solve the problem.

Re: QRP Labs xciever with SSB capability
Hi Hans,
I think it is great that you are sharing your results with me.? I have stolen the Teensy 3.2 from my radio.? They are no longer available since the parts shortages of a few years ago.?

Prior to changing parts, I'd do a factory reset and see if the situation changes.

Ron, thank you your replies.
I'll have a try with your suggestions but waiting on a smaller soldering iron. Most of my soldering experience is with vintage radios with point-to-point wiring.

P.S. I forgot another thing I was going to mention.
The two tone transmission is analogous to transmission of zero in a BPSK

That would explain why your previously presented traces earlier in this
topic have constant frequency (no 180-degree jump at the zero-amplitude
transitions). Assuming you are using 4800

Re: MidBand QMX, not receive on 20/17/15
RX band switching is accomplished with the microcontroller and IC402. However, as others have noted, the issue is probably assembly-related. Check C401 and C403.
Is this a pre-built unit or a kit?
