T507
Well at the risk of looking foolish I need to ask about this bino. I've wound a few of these in other projects but never been certain I was doing it right. I've wound T507 opposite handed. That is

Re: Reasonably priced CW paddles
There's also the DIY option: https://vk3il.net/pressure-paddle-v2/ They seem fine to me, but my CW is pretty marginal. Other more serious CW operators also seem to like them.

Re: QMX+
My QMX+ kit hasn't shipped yet, but I agree a thinner case would be a nice option. It seems you could make your own shorter end plates and then try to mod the front panel connections to orient it

4SQRP has a kit and I am happy with the result. Not a Kent but fine for QRP/portable use. Larry KB3CUF [email protected]> wrote:

Re: Reasonably priced CW paddles
Putikeeg paddles are not bad and reasonably cheap. Look on Ali, Amazon or the like. Dirt Cheap Paddles from American Morse. Indestructible and consistent but relatively sloppy. -- 73, Dan? NM3A

Re: QMX/QMX+: Steps to safe antenna tuning and powering the unit
Safe options: 1. Tune with 705, then connect QMX 2. Resistive bridge in front of any tuner - switch to straight thru after tuning up. A lot of manual QRP tuners integrate this into the tuner 3. Use

Can you clarify the procedure for using a manual tuner and the Tenna Dipper II? Note, I also have a Z-match tuner (which I have not tired out) and RigExpert Stick 500 which I have used to tune an

Re: QMX/QMX+ power board issue
This is with PCB#2 not connected to anything?? If it is plugged in then there's a lot on the main board that will take power. Looking at the circuit Q111 might conduct through its diode but there

Easy.... Using a TI or any other auto-tuner the same set of risks are a fact. Same for manual one! You have a IC705, use that to match the antenna if needed while employing the T1 autotuner.? Then

I suggest placing a resistive VSWR bridge (I have a QRP-O-Meter) between the radio and tuner.? Set to TUNE position, its 6dB loss will limit the VSWR the radio sees to under 2:1during tuning.? When
