QMX 20/80m BPF TXswap Clarification
Pardon me if this has been asked before. Regarding the "20/80m BPF TXswap". Am I correct in assuming that this is in reality is a BPF 1 and BPF 3 swap without regard to which band or slot in the band

Re: QMX real RTC

There isn't any way to maintain the current real time clock when powered
down as it is run in the main processor code. Not the low current RTC
peripheral. There would be potential ways to do a partial

Re: QCX Challenge - January 2024
Luc you rased the question on the rules for the challenge as you used a Bingo on 80 m. To my understanding the challenge gives points to an operator using a QRP Labs rig . Any non QRP Labs rig should

That pretty much closes the case :/ thanks, @Hans anyway.
BTW is there a way to make it keep the time when powered off but with power supply kept attached?

What is a name or part number for the sockets? I've not seen them before, but like the idea.

Thankyou Evan for putting me onto the right track.
So below is the picture of the windings as I made them originally.

Re: QMX Lockup In Practice Mode.
Hello,
The lockup occurs wether the QMX is in practice mode or not (happened to me twice last week while in QSO-s).
I believe the issue was reported before, along with other CW keyer glitches.

Re: QMX Transient Shutdown
Excellent article. I have a choke balun that I wound at the base of my vertical but I need to do some work on my radials. I also plan to add a choke at the xcvr. end of the coax.
Thanks Mike WA8UOC

Re: BS170 FETS burnt out - all applicable kits.
Mine failed in my Rev 5 QDX, but not as toasty as yours!
I had mine into a speaker wire dipole on 20m. Dipole is in my attic, so no exposure to wind, rain, etc. SWR was <1.6:1.
I added a diode across

Re: BS170 FETS burnt out - all applicable kits.
Peter,
You obviously do not read this group:-)
Many of the posts are about BS170 failure, what else may go with them and ways of stop it happening.
I fancy that it is not actually as common as one

Re: QMX Transient Shutdown
A quarter wave vertical antenna needs a path for its return current. The high current point for a vertical is at the base of the vertical. The return current path requires a similar high current.
