Re: #qmx not powering up after firmware installation #qmx
Alex, Did you report the bias as 3.4 ma correctly?? I thought it was 30 ma.? I suggest a factory reset as the starting point. 73 Evan AC9TU

Hi all, Many thanks for your comments, which helped me to move forwards. There was a connection issue with the 5V SMPS because the connector was not quite straight. I resolved that, but when fiddling

Re: QMX RF Filter Sweeps
For no output on a particular band, the typical culprit is no connectivity to one (or more) low pass toroids.? One way to fix this is knowing that you've trimmed the enameled leads of each toroid,

Re: QMX RF Filter Sweeps
Hi Jason. For some reason RF Sweeps like you're seeing seem to happen often for folks. It just happened to me on newly built (Rev 2) High-Band QMX after getting some decent looking sweeps initially.

Re: QMX - no power
I posted on this before. Do you have a Rev 1 QMX? It has a low power 1/2 watt zener diode rather than the 5 watt diode on rev 2 or 3. if the shorted D108 is your problem, indicted by a low resistance
