Next you should probably check for continuity on all pins between IC2 and the LCD. Those are : IC2 LCD 2 11 3 12 4 13 5 14 6 6 27

I’m surprised more people haven’t mentioned this… But if your QMX is built for 12 V you should never apply more than 12 V. If your QMX was built for 9 V you should never apply more than 9
