Doug,
I believe that continuous flashing means that the QDX is in firmware update mode (flash drive). ?Turn off power and turn on again. ?It should flash for several seconds and then the led should stay on without flashing.

I just finished building my QDX (version 4). Built for 9vdc. Connected USB to my iMac. On power-up, the LED flashes continuously, about 5Hz. No device appears in the WSJT-X Audio Input pulldown. When I unplug the USB cable, I get "Disk Not Ejected Properly" suggesting Mac OS thinks this is a disk drive. I don't see any documentation about a continuously flashing LED. What might this mean?

In Linux you have to use pavucontrol to "wire things up" through PulseAudio.? Pulse is a bit of a hog for RPi's though, I have so far declined to install it on mine.

Using a magnifying glass, I was able to navigate to the font window and choose a larger font size. Unfortunately, this had no effect on the size of the menu and menu items fonts, even after re-booting WSJT-X and rebooting the computer.? I may ditch this download of WSJT-X and try again with a fresh download.

I decided not to use the adhesive patch that comes adhered to the stands because some users said they were quite permanent. So while I was figuring out where I¡¯d position them, I used a strip of 2-sided tape left over from last winter¡¯s poly-sheet ¡°storm windows.¡± Wow, stuck VERY well to both the feet and the Mini. :)?

Well... no, pin 11 isn't truly grounded.? Here's a funny thing which has sent me on a wild goose chase:? When my ebay special variable PSU is powered on, but in standby, it presents 10ohms between +ve & gnd. That really confused the debugging process.
I've been doing a bit more digging around, and there's 1.8v from pin 18 on the QRPLabs synth board to pin 1 of the SMD chip. It looks from the synth board instructions that pin 18 should be 3.3v, but there's no reference to pin 18 in the main board instructions.?
I'm only seeing 1.8v on pin 18 when the synth board is inserted.? If I remove it and check the pin output on the mainboard there is nothing.
Otherwise, on the synth board pins 10,9,8 have 5v.
Oh... silly, silly me.? I suspected I'd perhaps got the resistors incorrect for the LM317, but having just looked closer, the LM317 says BS170 on it, and vice versa for one of the BS170s.? *facepalm* as the youngsters say.?

The new windows sound controls suck.? This is why I say use the Sound Control Panel.? If you widen that window you show, you'll see a link to it on the right side near the top.? Good old fashioned Win7 Sound Control Panel.
