QMX+ RTC resetting on power off
I've just upgraded from 020 to 027 and the RTC resets to 00:00 when it is powered off. I'm sure that the RTC kept time before I upgraded the firmware. Have I missed something in the set up? Thanks

Re: Production seems to have slowed significantly
Man, running a physical product business sounds like a real PITA.

Re: QMX+ build: so close, and yet....
Thank you. I actually figured that out after I asked, but I'm still a n00b and jargon is not always obvious to me. /m

QMX HB Image/10 meter Power and Other Questions
Hello, All. 1. Can someone tell me what might be causing an intermittent reading when I perform the Image scan for 20 meters? (high band unit, 12 V/1.1 A p.s. settings, 95 mA rx, 20 watt dummy load

Re: QMX mid band build - Continuity between A and B points
Very good progress. Greg's suggestion #1 is a good one.? Maybe also take a close-up photo of your T501 and post it so we can see what you did and maybe help. If both the board and the coil test good

Re: 50w PA oscillations
Hi Bojan, Thanks for the hint, PTT voltage when in TX is only 2.5V. And Red LED is not as bright as green one. Now I need to find the culprit. I measured R14 in-circuit to be 9.96kohm, which looks

Re: QDX High-Band 15m Low Power
If you do a diagnostics LPF scan for 15M, what does it show? (using the USB interface via putty or teraterm or whatever terminal emulator) You potentially have a 15M LPF problem.

I got both 17 and 15 meters to over 4 watts. This is what I did, I put more heat on the solder joints and adjusted the windings to have more space. I thought since the calculated windings were

Ludwig, First of all, thank you for this. I have been trying to parse the schematics, but I don't fully know all the causes and effects. This helps a lot. I was with you, pretty much, right 'til the

Re: QMX+ build: so close, and yet....
Hello Michael, ok, lets have a look at schematics. Bias current is "produced" by an SMPS built from Q501, Q502, Q516 and the parts around. When Q502 is switched on, energy is flowing from "+12V" to

Re: #putty QMX terminal operations #putty
Exactly. Probably, you could also do, `sudo dmesg|grep ACM`, since it should always at least come in as an ACM-named device.

I always use sudo dmesg | less and then hit shift G to go to the bottom and scroll up until I find the device and path.
