There is a possible advantage of the smaller speaker, since the 2" uses a significant portion of the QMX+ available volume.? It would be worth testing the audio quality of the tiny speaker.

Please excuse my befuddlement. Let's say you have been working 20 meter FT8 14.074 and you push the button in WSJT-X to change to 15 meters 21.074. I assume WSJT-X sends a CAT command for the target
