Ran into a bunggered thread in a case half on my QMX HB.? Was able to tap it out with one of the actual screws, carefully backing out often. They are M2.5mm x 8.?
Then lost a screw too.?
Bought this off of Amazon. Lots of different sized small case screws for cheap with fast delivery.?

They measure ~2.9 mm across the threads. The screws with my QMX measure ~2.4 mm across the threads and they fit the 50 W case just fine.?
I can solve this multiple ways. If I knew the actual size of the larger screws I could tap the case. I have a few metric taps including two 3mm taps with different pitch .55 and .6 IIRC. ?But I am not convinced the screws are 3mm.?
or if I knew the actual size of the QMX screws I could purchase a pack of them off Amazon.?
I tried measuring the pitch but the results were inconclusive.?
