Re: QMX new build no control of volume? #qmx
Emory, Have you tried the Audio Volume Step control? I believe the default is 0.25 dB per step. At that level, it seems like the volume control doesn't do anything! It actually does, but takes many

Re: QMX - Any progress on key clicks please?
BTW, Hans, I never said I was happy with no key clicks, just that I was happy that they were reduced enough to make the QMX easily useable with 017, while before it was bad enough to make me use

Re: Qmx receive off frequency
Hi Dan, I had a similar problem on 20m with my QMX. TX and RX was not ob transceive and about 450Hz off. A factory reset resolved the issue. I had it twice so far, but do not know what caused it to

Re: QMX - Any progress on key clicks please?
I have key thumps, such that my QMX is unusable.? They are worse on the lower bands.? I have tried a variety of Audio and AGC settings to no avail.? Settings adjustments are at best like aspirin

John I think you are correct.I believe I would need a spectrum analyzer to correctly and safely measure the final output harmonics. Might invest in a TinySA.? Greg Yahoo Mail: Search, Organize,

Re: QMX - Any progress on key clicks please?
All, I definitely have the clicks. They are not as bad as pre 017 levels, but definitely there. They are much worse at high volume levels. So from a practical point of view, when you work a strong

Continuation of a story. After the sudden strange disappearance of the ability to turn on the RIT, returning to factory settings and re §Ñ flashing the firmware did not help. Checking the resistor and

Marek, When QMX is unpowered, the PIN diodes are all in a high resistance state. No particular LPF is selected. What would the VNA measure? When QMX is powered on, an LPF can be selected, but the

@ Donald yes you are right, I used wrong description. As for nanoVNA, you do not put power through it. S11 (source) goes into Input side of nanaVNA and S21 into output (ANT?) end. You should see

There are power limits for VNA ports, which will vary by device.? This should be specified by the manufacturer/designer. I would suggest 0dBm as a reasonably safe upper limit. When measuring
