Re: QMX Transient Shutdown
Jakob, I also suspect CMC after another issue was resolved- see /g/QRPLabs/message/117215 ( /g/QRPLabs/message/117215 ) thread. I was using a base loaded vertical

Re: QMX Rev 1 Watt & SWR meter problem #transmitpower #troubleshoot #troubleshooting #qmx
Very low power indicated on all bands while SWR was high on 80 meters tapering to none on 20 into a dummy load! Power was 4-5 watts by measuring voltage at the dummy load. My interim solution is to

Re: QDX RF filter sweep
Don or Matt, Are you able to post a 15M RF sweep or all of the RF sweeps? 20/17/15/12/10? I'm wondering if one could add 2-3 turns to L12 for 20M, but use the 15M BPF on 17M (instead of 17 and 20m

Re: QMX kit has a internal short at power up
Paul (and others), Yes, that zener is only the last line of over-voltage defence. I had used the QMX for quite a while before it went dead. It failed before Hans corrected the interrupt priority of

Re: #qmx wrong inductances for LPF? #qmx
Hi Ludwig, I got almost the same results by measuring inductance using two methods,VNA and cheap LC meter. Yes, it looks like the tolerance is +20-25% for material #17 and +15-20% for material #6.

Peter_Li, To tell the truth, I have not transmitted on 10M. Also, it's a bit cold here in Wisconsin so I'm not presently doing any "Throw a wire into the tree" and transmitting. I also don't have any

Sounds like RFI. What kind of antenna did you use? Did you have protection against Common Mode Current CMC on the coax? 73

I've come to a similar conclusion about the availability of a replacement boot-loaded MCU, Instead of starting my hi-band QMX kit I built a hi-band (tr)uSdx kit to go with my lo-band (tr)uSdx. I'm not

Re: 5W mini transmitter for presetting the ATU
Today I used the QMX on the ATU-100 modified for QRP. The antenna is a 2 x 27m dipole. 80m band, tuning rate=40%, SWR=1.3 output = 7.1 W 60m band, tuningrate=40%, SWR=1.8 output = 5.5 W 40m band,
