Re: QDX Owners & Users... Limit your ! CURRENT !
Hans, A little off topic here but what power out can you expect with 3x BS170 on 50MHz? I know QDX is not a 6M rig ( yet ). Would 1X BS170 be better than 3 (at 50Mhz) to lower gate capacitance? TNX!

Re: QDX Owners & Users... Limit your ! CURRENT !
Sorry I meant 500mA current. Typo. Power dissipation rating 833mW "More powerful transistors" go hand in hand with higher device capacitance. Efficiency goes down, driver power goes up, heat

Re: QDX: Anyone else having a problem with image rejection?

I was just digging into this. I am only 20 db down on 20M and 80M and 10 db down on 30M and 40M. Is there a way in hardware to adjust the phase of the IQ signal? Thank you, -- Colin Kaminski - K6JTH

WSJT-X error: Requested input audio format is not supported on device
I'm using WSJT-X 2.5.4 on Linux (Raspbian). For audio input and output, I use: plughw:CARD=Transceiver,DEV=0 ...in mono. And it works. Sometimes. I already made a couple of QSOs with these settings.

Re: QDX Owners & Users¡ Limit your ! CURRENT !
Hi Gary Not necessarily an oversight, but certainly a compromise. Adding current protection and VSWR protection can be considerable extra cost and complexity and many QRP radios do not include these

QDX Owners & Users¡ Limit your ! CURRENT !
Caution!!! Voltage is not the problem with the QDX, and winding T1 with 2 or 3 turns has little relevance, other than to say that 3 turns enhances the exposure. There are two built in design
