A balloon is not a great platform for spying... it does not go where you want it to go, and is at the mercy of the jet stream. This one is visible from the ground so not very stealthy.? And if they could roll down the window of the fighter jet, a few shots from a bb gun would get it to leak slowly and gently bring it down gently so the government could examine the secret spy equipment.??
