Re: Anyone Using a KXPA100 with QDX?

It'd be really cool to make that same jack into a "key" jack for CW, in other words, key the txcvr on it's current frequency.? Plug in a keyer/key and go to work.??

The QDX with "TX PTT grounded" enabled will pull the tip of a stereo (TRS) plug to ground when transmitting. I believe a stereo-style plug must be used so that the "TX PTT +5V" is not shorted to ground if it is enabled. I made a simple cable to connect to a JUMA PA100-D amp and it worked perfectly.
