Nothing special is happening in the first 5 seconds. It's just giving you a chance to power-down in those 5 seconds if you want to enter bootloader mode. Everything else works completely normally.?
There isn't any optimization of audio filtering or unwanted sideband rejection currently. It could be done but I have not (yet) implemented it. The performance is already so high that it isn't my highest priority.?
