Taking another stab at getting my 80m QCX up and running

After much "wailing and gnashing of teeth" I decided to remove the transformer (T-1) and re-wind it. It seems like T-1 is the logical culprit for low receive gain and the inability to adjust C1 for a bandpass peak of more than 2.?

Just for fun I measured the inductance (after I removed it) of each pass with an Agilent U1733C. I went thru the calibration sequence before I took the measurements.

Primary 1: 0.65?H
Secondary 1: 0.34?H
Secondary 2: 0.34?H
Secondary 3: 24.13?H

I bold faced Primary 1 because it has 5 turns on it as does Secondary 1 and Secondary 2. Yet the primary has roughly twice the inductance as S1 and S2.?That doesn't make sense.?

I was not holding the toroid when I made each measurement. I triple checked that I connected correctly. Maybe I'll find something when I unwind all of the turns.?
