Thankyou David, That seems to work but unable to set levels on mic or speaker.
I have the soundcard 'USB PnP device' set to Alsa mixer, but not able to
control of mic level. not tried speaker yet. ideas?.
I'm getting audio displayed on waterfall but no decodes yet on 40m

Please can someone help me to identify which one I should use?
I have 14 possible options for the input and 25 options for output and

error messages don't help.
