Gizmo, aka? U3 WSPR, has died. It ran great for three days and I went to turn it on yesterday and sparks flew, his eyes slowly closed, his leg gave a twitch and it was all over. Postmortem? performed today............ The microprocessor is dead but I ordered a new one a few days ago. . The DDS board is toast. Ordered a new one . The GPS board is toast. Ordered a new one. . The LCD readout is toast, but I had a spare.?? I am making a new power supply.The power supply was the trouble maker. Sometimes when it rains there is lighting!
