WSJT-x (actually hamlib) does not use the mode commands correctly for QMX, and for some reason sends a 'lower-sideband digital' code to QMX if you set the mode to "Data/Pkt"

That explains what was happening to me.? When it was in digi mode and it wasn't working, I could hear the signals and see them on the waterfall if I tuned away from the "watering hole" frequency.? I forget which way I had to tune (up or down).? But even though I could see and hear signals, WSJT would not decode them.? It seemed as if it were on LSB instead of USB (kinda like it was hearing a mirror image of each tone instead of hearing the correct offset from the base frequency).
