That is good advice, Stan. This is my 5th Build of QRP-Labs rigs, and all worked "right out of the box,* including a high band and a low band QDX, so this is quite frustrating, after multiple and many checks of the completed board. All buttons work FB, except when they dont. I dont think I am getting a full initialization, or an accurate one somehow. Reset to factory fails. I am beginning to think there is a bad chip on the board.
The load radio takes 3 minutes before the radio choices, I choose QMX+, then it hangs there, unresponsive to button pushes for another 3 minutes, then it goes to the clock. From there I can navigate about the menus, but cannot change anything. A quick push of the upper encoder results in a power-down. And then I am stuck again in firmware upload mode.
I'm at a loss right now.
