Something like that happened to me when my battery got close to the end. Seems that at the initial key down there’s a power drain beyond my limits. ?Changing batteries fixed the problem. ?I was using 9v rechargeable and it was depleted.

Im able to receive fine. I was able to make ssb contacts too.
I figured it was my powered speaker but I switched it to my QMX+ and it works fine.
