Something new happened on the QMX receive audio doesn’t blank when mic is pressed.

Don All Messages By This Member #142190 Has anyone else seen an issue where the receive audio stays on during transmit? I noticed it today. It happened on all bands and when I key the mic the receiver audio doesn’t blank. It’s not receiving but just a hiss like listening to a dead band. Im able to receive fine. I was able to make ssb contacts too. I figured it was my powered speaker but I switched it to my QMX+ and it works fine. ? Anyone? ? Don.

Seems that at the initial key down there’s a power drain beyond my limits. ?Changing batteries fixed the problem. ?I was using 9v rechargeable and it was depleted. John KK4ITX? Don All Messages By This Member #142192 So tonight I did a reset and calibration and the problem is gone. It was actually gone after performing the reset and a power cycle. Interesting thought on the power possibility. I was running it on a battery pack today when I noticed it. However, after connecting it to a power supply at 12 volts it did not correct. ?It looks ok now.. Thanks for the reply. ? Don.
