Having said that, I have trouble imagining the kind of abuse it would take to break the toroids loose in QRP Labs' kits; you could likely pick up the PCB using a toroid.? Their mass is in grams range and the wires' breaking strength in kilograms.? So, 500-1000Gs shock, maybe.
