QMX+: How to "fix" vertical toroids to the pcb

I saw several posts about it but in the end what do you recommend to avoid toroids moving around?

I understand that L401,L403, L404, T501 and T507 should be somewhat self fixed due to wires, but what about the others?

Will they stay reasonably put? I have when they somewhat bend on the pcb, I have a bad feeling they could start flying around.

TIA

I buy super glue with a flow control nozzle and put a drop or two on each side of the vertical sitting toroid. They stay solid and do not move. The toroids laying flat on the board are solid enough without any glue.

Hot glue gun works, coils in my qcx still in place after 2 years of jumping inside my backback. For something permanent B6000 is great glue for electronics since its not agressive and his bonding does not include chemical reaction unlike superglue.

If you are concerned about coil (or other heavy component) movement, you could stake them with a few dabs of "neutral-curing" silicone adhesive, like this one: ?
Batteries can be immobilized with zip ties.
As usual, NASA has some guidance: ?
?
Having said that, I have trouble imagining the kind of abuse it would take to break the toroids loose in QRP Labs' kits; you could likely pick up the PCB using a toroid.? Their mass is in grams range and the wires' breaking strength in kilograms.? So, 500-1000Gs shock, maybe.

Hi Don,

I will try with hot glue(as Ivica suggested), it seems somewhat the best compromise for having the toroids not bending (I don't anticipate any extreme abuse) and if needed I could still think to remove them heating a little and/or using some alcohol.

I don't even know how to find the neutral curing silicone you are referring, don't want to end up with the wrong chemical and make a mess. Nothing on amazon.it that is specific for electronic use.

Very nice NASA guidance, thanks.

Paul,
super glue is too strong, should I need to change/remove a toroid I guess it won't be easy.

Thanks all for the suggestions.
