Hi all, I have noticed on my Rev. 4 QMX that even with the backlight turned OFF in the display settings, the backlight LED is illuminated a bit. I'm running the latest firmware as of today (1_00_23) but this was present on prior firmware versions.

I should caveat that I did mod the backlight brightness a few weeks ago by removing 33ohm R360 on the display board and putting a 1/4W 470ohm resistor in its place using the large adjacent pads intended for such a modification. It's exhibiting the same behavior with a 100ohm resistor. I'm trying to scrounge up a replacement 33ohm resistor to see if it goes back to "normal" at that value but haven't found one yet. I wouldn't think that this would make a difference but I thought it important to disclose.

I've reflowed the JP207/JP303 connectors and ensured all 4 pins have good continuity when assembled.

I also have Rev. 1 low-band QMX that I haven't done the backlight modification on that doesn't appear to exhibit this.

Has anyone else seen this? Did I bungle something up?

Attached photos were taken with exposure locked so the relative brightness of ON/OFF should be accurate.
