QLG2 could be wired to a 3.5mm plug and connected externally to the QMX+ Paddle port in the same way you'd use it on QMX.?
If you want to install QLG2 inside then assuming you'll take care of the mechanical aspects, the wiring would also not be difficult; you'd want to re-configure the jumpers on the QLG2 (according to its manual) to provide 3.3V logic level outputs; then just wire 1pps and TXD to the corresponding pins of the 1x5-pin header that the QLG3 plugs into. I realize the QLG3 is made for the QMX+ but thought maybe the QLG2 could still be used. I also realize they are different units so the pinouts would be different.

But are they Too Different to be used in this situation? Just a wiring fix and maybe a case modification?
