Great.
I've been fiddling with Fldigi but haven't had success.
I read in another post to set the power output level at the bottom right to 6. Isn't working for me but I've probably got something else set wrong.
I'm pretty sure that the frequency shift modes won't work, like PSK, but I've seen where others have had success getting RTTY to work. I'll try that at some point.?
I'm trying to get a new MKmini I just got working with MP40. Had it sending at one point but it was not sending the characters correctly. Lost the bubble and can't get it working at all now, even just a simple 'tune'.
Time to sleep on it and try again tomorrow. ?

Greg, thank you for your help. I hooked up my QRPGuys power meter and we quickly found, using CW key, that the QMX was indeed transmitting at about 5 watts! We then worked on the WSJT-X issue and I also tried FLDIGI. We found that the Windows computer default audio (i.e. Windows system sounds) were configured for the QMX rather than the default laptop sound system. We could then see SWR readings on the QMX display when FT8 was transmitting, but no power reading.?We eventually found that the Windows sound setting (volume) for the QMX was at about 50%. When we raised it to 100%, WOO HOO we saw QMX transmitting as expected. PSKReporter also verified that FT8 was now working. And Gary Decker made his FT8 contact.
Similarly, FLDIGI seems to be transmitting at very low power. CAT control (using FLRIG) is working fine. We had enough for the day but now I speculate that we need to raise the Windows sound volume setting for FLDIGI. Microsoft sure doesn't make their sound settings easy to find and use. Should FLDIGI work with the QMX for all modes (specifically CW, PSK31, RTTY)?
Thanks Roy K2RMA
