Good afternoon from sunny Southwest Florida !
Looking for real world experience and 'thoughts' on the audio output level to WSJT-X when running in DIGI modes.
I'm seeing about 30dB of audio 'input' from my new REV 3 QMX ( _017 firmware) and I am? being seen and heard OK running FT8 and WSPR.?
The volume level in Windows for the 'QMX Transceiver' Input sound is set to 100%.?
QMX Volume knob adjustment does not seems to make a? difference as seen in the WSJT-X dB indicator. (except as noted below).?
I have the 'audio level' configuration parameter set to 4dB but changing that parameter doesn't seem to make much difference.?
I plugged in a set of low end headphones and the volume was BLASTING.
The AMX volume knob certainly affected the sound level in the headphones but dropped the audio into WSJTX way down when the volume was reduced to tolerable levels in the headphones. .
Are others experiencing this too,? or have? I possibly missed some configuration setup??
Any thoughts or recommendations are welcome.?
