A reset is mentioned on page 67 of the instructions. That worked. I copied the firmware file again and I can now start the QMX again and again.
Only I cannot do anything else. The push buttons and encoders do not work properly. The right encoder can be turned and shows 1-12 in the second line. That's all you can do. Does anyone here have any ideas?
