The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dynamic leader to join the University of the South Pacific (USP) and oversee the strategic direction and management of all Pacific TAFE programs, including skills-based qualifications, pre-degree, and sub-degree pathways across the Pacific Region. Leading a multidisciplinary team of professionals, the Director will work closely with internal stakeholders, including Heads of Colleges and academic units, to develop clear pathways for students to transition from vocational education to higher education and employment. The Director will lead strategic initiatives to strengthen partnerships with industries, government agencies, accredited bodies and development partners to ensure that Pacific TAFE programmes are aligned with current and future workforce demands, particularly in emerging sectors such as digital economies, climate resilience, and sustainable development. The position holder will champion the integration of digital learning technologies and blended learning approaches to enhance accessibility, flexibility, and student engagement via competency-based approach to assessments. The Director is responsible for ensuring that these programs meet the highest standards of academic quality, industry relevance, and student satisfaction, across all USP campuses and regional centers.
