I wrote that the 31 IS a Crealock design not a Crealock model. The Crealock models are canoe sterns. I knew Bill and he was a great guy and very proud of his designs. The 40, though a canoe and Crealock design is called a PS.I suspect because of the wide canoe but not positive on that.
