One thing to watch out for is to be sure you have enough room between the side of the new alternator casing and the port side of the engine ¡°box¡±.? It may not be an issue¡but I don¡¯t think there is a ton of spare room in that area.? Steve on Rafiki.?

Planning to install a Balmar 109 amp alternator on my Yanmar 3GM30F . Purchased the serpentine belt/pulley kit and the new alternator already has the right pulley!

anyone done this before? Any unforeseen fitting issues?
