Hi Rob,
This car needs about $3-4k worth of cosmetic work - front bumper, hood, side panels, etc. Then, the driver seat leather repair work. With that in mind, I was thinking around $23k. I bought the car for $24k and put in $10k. But again, I am willing to negotiate because my wife wants the car out of the house sooner rather than later.
A bit more about the car. The previous owner - who was based in Colorado and California - had the car for almost a decade. He thought he was a pretty handy person but occasionally he took more than what he could chew. This was the major reason why the car stayed with Leif "Guru" Johnson of Autowerks since he had to reset many things to the factory standard. I think he got about 95% done.?

Does it in both forward and reverse. Haven't even put 2 miles on it yet.
How many miles have you put on it? Have you done any harder launches?

Those are on the top and must not be removed.
The tabs that limit forward movement are removed.

I've never heard of someone extending the slave rod to get it to
release.? Most are lack of travel in the master (longer rod) that
needs to be cut so it can travel further and fully engage the
slave.
check on rennlist about modifying the master.?
How about the release bearing, you did press in a new bearing.?
Is that "spinning" ok?
Just tossing out some ideas as like Colin noted, usually it's the
discs when there's chatter, but the early dual discs engage higher
and slower than the single discs, so pedal/master/slave travel
sometimes affects how the system grabs.?
My 79 has all original discs etc, I added a new slave and I can
feel the grabiness (is that a word :D) due to it just being
resurrected after sitting for better part of 20 years.? The more I
drive, the better it seems to operate.

Not a spec clutch kit. Factory parts with discs from 928intl. New slave and master.? Extended the slave rod to get positive release (matched old slave)
Are these the Spec clutch components?
Have you done all the hydraulics?? Clutch master and slave??
How does the pedal feel when engaging and dis-engaging?
Is there a break-in procedure from Spec (if these are Spec)?
The double disc clutches can be a pain, but getting the

Weather was good, and was all set to head up, and the 928 curse hit.?
Was meeting folks to convoy up, and at the meeting spot, getting ready to head out, cranked and the GT was dead dead dead.? Dash was super dim.
I've been getting the dash resets on start up (even after being on the maintainer) this year, so was worried, but every time up until now, it started and ran fine.
Likely the battery as it's from 2013.? I guess even after being on a maintainer all the time, they do fail.?
Jump start got me going, but headed home just to be safe.
Now off to grab a new battery.
