Dear lovely neighbors, A few of us were chatting after our recent block party. There are many new faces, and we've all been stuck inside for 2 years. Having neighbor-friends is a great gift, so Melissa Mednick and I thought it might be nice to have a monthly or every-other-month BYOB happy hour. To kick things off, I will host, as I did at the beginning of the pandemic. (What nice medicine that was!) ? Our first HH will be on my front patio at 5675 Oak Grove Ave on Sunday 9/11?@ 5pm. Please put it on your calendars. All are welcome. If it gets too big, we may have to migrate to our driveway, which is no problem. Please bring whatever drinks/snacks you'd like to eat and some to share. This first event will also double as a book-party (!): I published during the pandemic and never properly celebrated. For those of you who are new to the 'hood, I am a pain science expert and nerd - so if you have or treat chronic pain, or know someone who does, I will have book copies for you. ? I will plan to host a few of these to?get us going, but if you would like to donate your yard or patio to a future HH, we are gratefully accepting volunteers. No work is needed to host beyond showing up. Looking forward to meeting/seeing all of you! Warmly, Rachel Zoffness ? ? |

Re: Vet recommendation
开云体育I’ve had great luck with Berkeley dog and cat. Claremont that was a big fail for me, Broadway that wasn’t horrible but I didn’t feel overly confident with their vets either. Berkeley dog and cat took the time to sit with me explain the situation was able to bring a specialist in to look at my dogs knees and recommend the appropriate procedures.
