I'm going to the North Frontenac Star Party this weekend with my brother. We're staying at the Lakeside Inn near Bon Echo.
I was planning to go see Nirvana at some point during the daytime to check it out. I've never been. A lot of people seem to like it, though, so my interest is piqued.
I have been to the North Frontenac Dark Sky Preserve once. Skies were dark, met a couple friendly astronomers, but it was fairly busy with astronomers and 'tourists' (for lack of a better word).
I think I will go to the Star Party on Friday night. I could maybe be convinced to observe at Nirvana on Saturday night.
